"The apartment is historically interesting, with brick walls on two indoor walls, ten-foot high windows, and a huge courtyard with a kind of high carriage enclosure presumably for horses and carriages. The inside is well-appointed, modern conveniences, and avante garde. I loved the decor. The location is right in the old part of downtown Victoria with many old buildings converted into great restaurants and shops. Everything is super close - the parliament buildings, the Empress, and harbour. Beds are comfy, and the roominess and high ceilings are delightful."
